The HeART of the Singapore River is an app where students will learn about 5 artworks by Singapore local artists, namely, Cheong Soo Pieng, Georgette Chen, Koeh Sia Yong, Lim Cheng Hoe and Teo Eng Seng.
In the “Discover” section, students will learn about the artworks through animations, audio clips and quizzes. In the “Create” section, students respond to artworks through games and through sketching out ideas, such as their vision of Singapore’s future using an in-app digital drawing tool. The tool also provides students with ideas of futuristic buildings and vehicles to stimulate their imagination and trigger their creativity.
