About
Temperature and Heat of Water
This is a simple interactive model to simulate how the heat energy of water changes with its temperature.
In particular, the heat energy of water follows the equation Q = mcT, where m is the mass of water, c is the specific heat capacity and T is the temperature of the water in Kelvins.

Measuring the Heat Energy Between 2 Cups of Water Javascript HTML5 Applet
This is a simple interactive showing how the heat energy of water changes as its temperature and volume changes (governed by the equation Q = mcT). Students can vary the temperature and volume of each individual cup of water in order to see the difference between the 2 cups. The objective is to help students understand the concept of heat energy, and how it is affected by other variables.
