Description

This is a simple interactive to model the cast shadows of objects, in this case a cube and a sphere, when illuminated by a light source. 
 
Users can vary a number of variables:
  • The distance of the light source to the object
  • The size of the object
  • The distance of the screen to the object
Sliders, as opposed to the input fields, are provided such that students are able to more clearly observe the effects of changing the variables on the shadow.
